Pity Parties
Pity parties are the pits.
Though you feel at end of wits,
Keep from pining, inward whining;
Don’t let Satan land his hits.
Jesus promised perfect joy
E’en when sorrows sore annoy.
Just believe it to receive it;
Faith’s a tool you must employ.
God has work for us below,
Much more glorious than we know.
If you’re willing, life fulfilling
You’ll find as you serve and grow.
